Bring it on Summer

The long-awaited is finally here!

SUMMER

There's just a few things that I CAN'T start my summer without.

A Perfect "Non-Cancerous" Tan

As most of you know, I'm a hater of "fake and bakes" and tend to wear some serious SPF when outside. I love my skin and would like to preserve it as long as possible. :) So you can imagine my excitement when I ran across this little bottle of heaven!

Loreal Sublime Bronze One Day Tinted Gel

It's caramel in color so easy to see if you're streaky. AND if you mess up, it washes off with soap and water! It's great for that "instant tan" look. I use Bobbi Brown sunless tanner for that gradual everyday tan.

A Good Book

My love for reading is a trait I inherited from my Diddy. There's just something about the smell and crisp feel of a new book's pages. And Amazon is the perfect place for those must-reads. My book shelf is covered with books just waiting on me to grab, however Tori has my heart right now. Cheesy, I know. I wasn't even a 90210 fan, but she's so great! Her books are a must!

Mommywood by Tori Spelling

Cute Flats

Nothing like a cute pair of sandals at a cute little price! Inexpensive shoes is just one reason to love Target!

A Good Hat

I've always loved hats; baseball, visor, straw, you name it, I own it! So glad they've become such a trend. These are two of my faves, especially for the beach. (Again, to help fight that crazy sun and it's UV rays!) Simple and altogether awesome.

So many other things to make summer complete, but I'll end with this...

A Fun Bob

While sometimes missing my long locks, I am loving my short summer do. It requires minimal maintenance and so easy to fix!

Me and My Hottie Husband

Happy Summer!

  1. Where did you find the Loreal gel? I use the lotion, but they reformulated it to where it dries VERY quickly, and I cannot get it on evenly any more. I MUST find the gel! I am completely anti-sun and ALWAYS carry an umbrella with me when I take my students out to the playground! :)

  2. Love it! You know I'm all about some Bobbi Brown....except for the smell! =) And Mommywood looks like a must summer read.

Keep the great posts coming! Love you!!

  3. Kattie, our local Wal-Mart has it, but I'm almost positive you can find it at Target. One helpful hint, wear some rubber gloves when you apply. The caramel sticks to your palms BIG TIME! :)
